Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Eligibility Criteria
The educational qualification and age limit required for TNPSC recruitment are detailed below
Qualification
(1) Deputy Collector: Candidates must have a degree from any university.
(2) Deputy Superintendent of Police (Category-1): Candidates must have a degree from any university.
(3) Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Taxes): Candidates must have a degree from any university.
Other things being equal candidates will be given priority as follows;
- Candidates who hold both B.Com. degree and B.L. degree together with a Diploma in Taxation Laws
- Candidates who hold both B.Com. and B.L. degree
- Candidates who hold either B.Com. degree or B.L. degree together with a Diploma in Taxation Laws
- Candidates who hold either B.Com. degree or B.L. degree
(4) Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies: Candidates must have a degree from any university.
(5) Assistant Director of Rural Development: Candidates must have a degree from any university.
(6) District Employment Officer: Candidates must have a degree from any university.
(7) District Officer (Fire and Rescue Services): Candidates must have a degree from any university.

Examination Fee
Preliminary Examination Fee Rs. 100/- to be paid while submitting the online application for this recruitment.
The main written exam fee is Rs. 200/- if shortlisted for the main written examination on the basis of preliminary examination results and on receipt of such information from the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.
Examination Fee Payment:
Special category candidates can get exemption from payment of examination fee as per eligibility criteria.
After submitting the details in the online application, candidates can pay the examination fee in online mode through net banking/credit card/debit card on or before the last date of submission.
Offline mode of payment will not be accepted if received in the form of Demand Draft/Postal Order etc.
