9. TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE (DISCIPLINE- INSTRUMENTATION)
No. of Vacancies: 47 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Three years Diploma in Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Electronics/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in aggregate from recognized University/ Institute.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 28/02/2019.
The candidates will be engaged as Apprentices in various Refineries of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) located in Guwahati, Barauni, Gujarat, Haldia, Mathura, Panipat, Digboi, Bongaigaon & Paradip. The candidates will undergo apprenticeship training for a period of 12 months/ 15 months/ 24 months under Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 in the different Trades/ Disciplines.
NOTE:
i) Candidates possessing professional qualifications such as BE/ BTech, MBA, CA, LLB, MCA etc. or any such equivalent qualification are not eligible to apply.
ii) Candidates, who have undergone Apprenticeship Training in the past or have been pursuing Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act are not eligible to apply.
iii) Candidates possessing Diploma in Engineering and have undergone a training or job experience for a period of one year or more after the attainment of the qualification, shall not be eligible for being engaged as Technician Apprentice.
iv) Candidates who have completed three years after acquiring the prescribed qualification as on Date of reckoning eligibility criteria shall also not be eligible for engagement as Technician Apprentices.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Personal Interview. The tentative date of Written Test is 24/03/2019. The Interview will be held tentatively from 01/04/2019 to 05/04/2019.
