The candidates will undergo One year Apprenticeship Training under Apprentices Act 1961 at various Work Centres of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGCL).
Name of the Work Centres:- Dehradun, OVL Delhi, Jodhpur, Goa, Hazira, Mumbai, Uran, Ahmedabad, Ankleshwar, Vadodara, Cambay, Mehsana, Jorhat, Nazira & Sivasagar, Silchar, Chennai, Kakinada, Karaikal, Rajahmundry, Agartala and Kolkata.
Note:
i) The candidates should not have undergone Apprenticeship either in ONGC or in any other organisation, earlier or pursuing Apprenticeship Training as per the Apprentices Act, 1961, as amended.
ii) Candidates, who had training or job experience for a period of one year or more after the attainment of the qualification, shall not be eligible for being engaged as Apprentices.
iii) Only for Technician Apprentices: The candidate for the post of Technician Apprentice should not have completed three years after passing of the qualifying examination as on the cut-off date of eligibility i.e. 28.03.2019.
iv) Candidates having higher/ professional qualifications are not eligible to apply.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be on the basis of marks obtained in the Educational Qualification and Document Verification. The tentative date of Result/ Selection is 01/04/2019. The date for Document Verification is 08/04/2019 – 12/04/2019.
