Points to remember:
- Among Candidate Name, Father’s Name and Mother’s Name, you can edit only one. Decide carefully which one needs the correction.
- Exam city choices can be changed only according to your permanent and present address. NTA is not bound to allot the city as per your preference.
- Sub-category / PwBD can be changed only if it has not been verified through the UDID Portal.
- Mobile number, e-mail, address, photo and signature are locked and cannot be edited in this window.
UGC NET December 2026 Correction Fee
There is no separate correction charge mentioned in the notice. However, if a change increases the applicable application fee (for example, a change in category), the candidate must pay the difference. Key fee rules are given below.
- If a correction raises the applicable fee, the candidate has to pay the additional amount.
- Fees already paid will not be refunded, even if the correction lowers the applicable fee.
