1. INDIAN FOREST SERVICE EXAMINATION- 2019
No. of Vacancies: 90 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology OR Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering of any recognized University, or possess an equivalent qualification.
Note: Candidates who have appeared or appearing at an examination/ waiting for results are also eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and below 32 years as on 01/08/2019.
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be conducting Indian Forest Service Examination- 2019 and candidates will be selected for recruitment to total 90 vacancies on the basis of the result of Indian Forest Service Examination- 2019.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically. For more details please see the Official Advt.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview. The Preliminary Examination will be held on 2nd June, 2019. The Main Examination is likely to be held in December, 2019. The examination will be held at various centres across India.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.100/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). See released advertisement for more details.
NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF FEMALE/SC/ST/PWD CANDIDATES.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) — www.upsc.gov.in (See Application form’s link given below) from dated 19.02.2019 to 18.03.2019.
Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
