West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 247 posts of Office Executive. OFFICE EXECUTIVE

No. of Vacancies: 247 Nos. (Gen-116, SC-53, ST-15, OBC-,41, PWD-09, EXSM-13)

 

Educational Qualification:

1. Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate OR Graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in HS level AND must have passed certificate course/any other courses on computer from any of the Institutes indicated below: —

i) O‟ level course of National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) formerly DOEACC SOCIETY, Govt. of India.
ii) One year course in Computer Application from any Institute recognized by West Bengal State Council of Technical Education/West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development
iii) One year Diploma course in Modern Office Practice and Management from any Institute recognized by West Bengal State Council of Technical Education/ West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development
iv) Course of Computer Operation and Programming Assistant (Basic Skill and / or Advance Skill) from Regional Vocational Training Institute, Director General of Training & Employment, Govt. of India.
v) Secretarial Practices (Basic Skill and / or Advance Skill) from Regional Vocational Training Institute, Director General of Training & Employment, Govt. of India Or,
f) Passed twelve standards in vocational stream from State Council of Vocational Training, Govt. of West Bengal with any of the following combination: — (a) Computer fundamentals and Programming and Computer Assembly and Maintenance. (b) IT enabled services and Computer fundamentals and Programming

OR
2. Passed Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA)/Bachelor in Computer Application(BCA) [With either minimum 50% marks in Graduation or 50% marks in HS]

OR
3. Passed Bachelor Degree in Science with Honours in Statistics or Honours in Computer Science [With either minimum 50% marks in Graduation or 50% marks in HS]

OR
4. Passed Bachelor Degree in any discipline with at least one full paper on Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Information Technology at Graduation level. [With either minimum 50% marks in Graduation or 50% marks in HS]

OR

5. Passed Bachelor Degree in any discipline with MCA. (With either minimum 50% marks in Graduation or 50% marks in HS).

 

NOTE — Computer Certificate Course from any Private Computer Training Institute or any other Computer Centre/Institute Not Affiliated to WBSCTE (West Bengal State Council of Technical Education) or NIELIT (formerly DOEACC Society, Govt. of India) will not be accepted.

 

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 01/01/2017.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.6,300 – Rs.20,200 and Grade Pay Rs.3600/- plus other allowances.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection will be made on the basis of performance in the Written Test, Computer Proficiency Test and Interview. Written Test, Computer Proficiency Test and Interview will be held in Kolkata only.

Written Examination will be held tentatively on 18/06/2017.
