WEST BENGAL AUDIT AND ACCOUNTS SERVICE RECRUITMENT EXAMINATION, 2018
On basis the Examination, qualified candidates will be selected for the posts in the West Bengal Audit and Accounts Service.
No. of Vacancies: 40 Nos. (UR-13, SC-06, ST-02, OBC-17, PH-02)
Educational Qualification:
i) Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from a recognized University.
OR
Must be a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or must be a Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
OR
MBA/ PGDM (Finance) or equivalent post graduation degree in Finance under 02 years full time regular course.
ii) Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali).
Age Limit: Maximum 36 years as on 01.01.2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.15,600/- to 42,000/- with Grade Pay Rs. 5,400/-
Reserved Category candidates from the states other than West Bengal shall be treated as General Candidates.
On the basis of the result of examination, candidates will be selected to the posts in the West Bengal Audit and Accounts Service.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Personality Test. The Preliminary Examination will be held at various centres in Kolkata and Darjeeling tentatively in the month of September, 2018. The Main Examination will be held in Kolkata only and Personality Test will be held thereafter in the office of the Public Service
Commission, West Bengal, in Kolkata.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen.
