Wildlife Institute of India Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection process for WII project positions is a two-stage process designed to shortlist the most suitable candidates. Details of the selection process are given below.
Shortlisting: Applications will be scrutinized based on essential qualification, age limit, percentage of marks, specialization relevance, research experience, and publications as per WII rules. Based on category-specific screening criteria (out of 50 marks), the top ten (10) short-listed candidates for each position will be called for an interview.
- For Project Associate-I: 25 marks for Master’s degree percentage + 25 marks for specialization relevance.
- For Project Associate-II/Senior Project Associate/Project Scientist: 5 marks for NET/Ship + 25 marks for Post Graduation + 10 marks for work experience + 10 marks for publications.
- Online Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an online interview. A duly constituted Selection Committee will assess the candidate’s suitability for the project role.
