Educational Qualification
For Non-ITI Category:
- Should have passed Madhyamik (Class X std or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks (as per original marksheet)
- Must have minimum 40% marks in both Mathematics and Science
For ITI Category:
- Should have passed relevant trade test from NCVT/SCVT recognized institute with minimum 50% marks in ITI examination
- Must have passed Madhyamik/Class X std or equivalent with minimum 50% marks
Age Limit
The age limit is as per the Apprentice Act, 1961:
- Minimum Age: 14 years (18 years for designated hazardous trades)
- Maximum Age: 35 years for all categories
Age Relaxation: Applicable as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.

For Non-ITI Category:

- Trades allotted on Merit-cum-choice basis
For Ex-ITI Category:
- Merit list prepared factory-wise and trade-wise based on simple average of percentage in Class X and ITI
