United Bank of India is recruiting 450 boys/girls as “Probationary Officer”. Candidates who have taken the Common Written examination for Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees conducted by IBPS in 2011-12 and have valid Score card issued by IBPS may apply. Details below—

Post: Probationary Officers (Scale—JMGS-I)

Vacancies: 450 Nos. (Gen-176; SC-90; ST-70; OBC-114) Out of which PH- 53 Nos.

Qualification: A Graduate in any discipline with 55% or more marks in aggregate from a recognized university in India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Govt. (50 % or more marks in case of SC/ST/PWD candidate )
OR
Post- Graduate Degree in any discipline with 55% or more marks in aggregate from a recognized university in India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Govt. (50 % or more marks in case of SC/ST/PWD candidate )

Essential Qualification: IBPS Score obtained in CWE for POs/MTs 2011-12

General Category : 138 or more (TWS); SC/ST/PWD/OBC Categories: 125 or more (TWS)
Individual Test Cut-offs— General : 24 , SC/ST/PWD/OBC : 21
Candidates must have successfully completed a computer course of at least six months duration from any Institute recognized by Central/State Government /All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or studied computer as one of the subjects in secondary/ Higher Secondary/ Graduation level under 10 +2+3 System.

Age limit: Between 21yrs to 30yrs

Salary: Rs.14500—Rs.25700
Selected candidates will be on probation for 2 years.

Selection steps: Selection for the post of `Probationary Officer will be made on the basis of performance in Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2011including supplementary examination held in November 2011 and the marks obtained in Group Discussion and/Interview.
Call letter for interview will be sent to the candidates through e-mail therefore during online registration, candidates should enter their own valid e-mail id.

How to apply: Application can be submitted only through online system from the official website of United Bank of India— http://www.unitedbankofindia.com
Before submitting the online application form, candidates should make print-out of fee challan and should deposit the Application fee of Rs. 200 (Rs.50 for SC/ST/PH) from any branch of United Bank of India
After depositing the fee, visit the United Bank’s website again and then submit the application with all required details. After successful submission, print-out 2 copies of computer generated form which will appear with unique Registration No.
There is no need to send any documents by post. The Application printout along with the fee payment receipt and required copies of documents should be kept ready for submission if shortlisted for Group Discussion and/Interview.
Candidates if selected for Group Discussion and Interview should brings all the below mentioned documents in original and in Attested copies—

  • Original fee payment receipt (CBS challan/ NEFT receipt)
  • Valid IBPS Scorecard for the stipulated examination
  • Attested copy of School leaving certificate or any other document showing proof of age acceptable to the Bank.
  • Attested copies of Mark sheets / certificates in support of Educational Qualification
  • Attested copy of certificate of Computer Course, as applicable
  • Caste / PWD and any other related certificate as applicable.
  • Photo identity proof.
  • Any other relevant documents.

Last Dates to apply: Online application form submission will begin from 24th Feb,2012 and will end at 9th March 2012.
