South Western Railway, Hubli, invites for 1014 Group-D posts against Ex-Servicemen Quota. Last Dt. 29/07/2013 (13/08/2013)

Railway Recruitment Cell — South Western Railway (SWR), Hubli, is inviting application for 1014 Nos. erstwhile Group-D posts against Ex-Servicemen Quota. Posts — Trackman, Helper (Engineering/ Track Machine Org/ Electrical/ Signal & Telcom) and Porter/ Operating. Interested candidates may apply on prescribed application format. Employment Notice No.01/2013 dated- 29.06.2013. Brief details is given below —

The break-up of vacancies is as follows —
— Trackman: 578 Nos.
— Helper/ Engineering: 46 Nos.
— Helper/ Track Machine Organization: 117 Nos.
— Helper/ Electrical: 39 Nos.
— Helper/ Signal & Telecom: 86 Nos.
— Porter/ Operating: 148 Nos.

Eligibility Criteria: Ex-servicemen who have retired after putting in 15yrs of service and have passed Army Class-I certificate or equivalent will be eligible to apply.

Age as on 29-06-2013: Minimum 18yrs and maximum —
1. For UR candidates : 33 years + extent of military service + 3 years
1. For SC/ST candidates : 38 years + extent of military service + 3 years
2. For OBC candidates : 36 years + extent of military service + 3 years

Selection of the candidates will be on the basis of scrutiny of application. Candidates must be medically fit for the job.
There will be no written or physical test.
