Rajasthan Police requires 12178 Constable General, Constable Driver/ Band and Constable Operator. Last Dt. 22/08/2013

Rajasthan Police is inviting application for  12178 posts of – Constable General, Constable Driver, Constable Band and Constable Operator for different Districts/ Units/ Battalion under Rajasthan Police. Interested and eligible candidates may apply Online from the official portal of Rajasthan Police or through E-Mitra Kiosk/ CSC within below scheduled date. Qualification norms and brief details is given below —

1-(i). Constable General 
Number of Vacancies: 9737 Nos. (Gen—4868; OBC—1962; SBC—108; SC—1518; ST—1281)
1- (ii). Constable General (For  candidates from Tribal Subplan Area)
Number of Vacancies: 997 Nos. (Gen—523; SC—53; ST—421)
1- (iii). Constable General (For district Banra including Sahriya Adhivasis)
Number of Vacancies: 358 Nos. (Gen—115; OBC_-34; SBC—5; Sahriya—204)

2. (i) Constable Driver (General Region)
Number of Vacancies: 812 Nos. (Gen—380; OBC—125; SBC—1; SC—192; ST—114)
2. (ii) Constable Driver (For candidates from Tribal Subplan Area)
Number of Vacancies: 57 Nos. (Gen—25; ST—32)
2. (iii) Constable Driver (for District Banra including Sahriya Adhivasis)
Number of Vacancies: 24 Nos. (Gen—3; ST—1; Sahriya—20)

3. (i) Constable Operator (Police Telecommunication)
Number of Vacancies: 61 Nos. (Gen—28; OBC—12; SBC—00; SC—9; ST—9)

4. (i) Constable Band 
Number of Vacancies: 120 Nos. (Gen—77; OBC—23; SBC—1; SC—00; ST—19; Sahriya—00)
4. (ii) Constable Band 
Number of Vacancies: 12 Nos. (Gen—7; ST—5)

Educational Qualification —
For vacancies in District Police: Secondary or Class 10 or equivalent pass.
For vacancies in R.A.C. Battalion: Class VIII pass.
For  Police Telecommunication (Operator): Higher Secondary with Science, Geology and Mathematics or its examination from recognized board.

Pay scale: For initial two years, candidates will be on probation with fixed Remuneration Rs.7900/-. After successful completion of the probation period, candidates will be on regular pay scale of Rs.5200 —20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2400/-

Age Limit: —
For constable General/ Operator/ Band: Candidates must not be born after 1.1.1996 and before 02.01.1991 (02.01.1986 for female candidates)
For Constable Driver: Candidates must not be born after 01-01-1996 and before 02-01-1988 (02-01-1983 for female candidates)
Upper age relaxation for reserved categories is as per norms. Age will be counted as on 01-01-2014

Physical Standards of the candidates —
Male: Height—168cms (160cms for Sahriya Adhivasis); Chest (unexpanded/ expanded)—81/ 86 cms (74/ 79 for Sahriya Adhivasis); Weight – Not applicable.
Female: Height—152cms (145cms for Sahriya Adhivasis); Chest (unexpanded/ expanded)— Not applicable; Weight – minimum 47.5 Kgs (43Kgs for Sahriya Adhivasis)
Candidates must e physically fit and free from any bodily deformities which may hinder in the performance of the duty. See the Advt.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply Online through authorized e-Mitra Kiosk or Common Service Centre after cash payment of Rs.200/- (Rs.150 in case of SC/ST candidates for Rajasthan) as Examination Fee and Rs.30/- additionally as Service charges for e-Mitra / CSC

Candidates willing to apply self can do so by visiting the official website of Rajasthan Police (live url is given below) but in such, they should deposit the Examination fee (as said above) through e-Mitra Kiosk or Common Service Centre and shall pay Rs.10/- as service charge for fee depositing.

After successful submission of Online Application form, print-out the system Generated Registration slip of future correspondence. Do not send hard copy of application to anywhere.
Exact date of Written Examination/ Selection Test will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course.
