No. of Vacancies: 160 Nos.
Course wise vacancies:
i) Boiler Quality High Pressure Welder:- Total 80 posts (For Welders’ Training Center, Taratala- 50 posts, for Welders’ Training Center, Asansol- 30 posts)
ii) Advanced Boiler Quality High Pressure Welder:- Total 80 posts (For Welders’ Training Center, Taratala- 50 posts, for Welders’ Training Center, Asansol- 30 posts)
Educational Qualification:
i) For Boiler Quality High Pressure Welder course:- Class VIII passed.
ii) For Advanced Boiler Quality High Pressure Welder course:- Class X passed or ITI passed or equivalent.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years.
The vacancies are for One year training course at Welders’ Training Centers, Taratala and Asansol for the year 2020- 2021 in Boiler Quality High Pressure Welder and Advanced Boiler Quality High Pressure Welder courses.
Both the courses are accredited by NSQC under the Ministry of Skill Development, Govt. of India.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview.

Course Fee: Candidates will be required to pay Course Fee of Rs.7000/- for Boiler Quality High Pressure Welder and Rs.9000/- for Advanced Boiler Quality High Pressure Welder through Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director State Labour Institute, payable at Kolkata at the time of admission only.
