1. POST GRADUATE TEACHER (PGT)
No. of Vacancies: 61 Nos. (UR-32, OBC-16, SC-09, ST-04. Out of the total posts, 02 posts are reserved for PWD)
Name of the subjects: Hindi, Sanskrit, Maths, Chemistry, Physics, Sociology, History, OC, Statistics, Sec. Practice, PT, Marathi, English, Biology, Economics, Geography, Accountancy, Psychology & Gujarati.
Educational Qualification: First class MA/ M.Sc/ M.Com or equivalent Post Graduate Degree from recognized University and Degree in Teaching Education.
OR
Second class MA/ M.Sc/ M.Com or equivalent Post Graduate Degree with M.Ed. Degree with 03 years teaching experience in HSS or B.Ed. Degree with 05 years teaching experience in High School.
Note: i) The proficiency in the medium of the instruction is essential. ii) Medium of instruction shall be Gujarati/ English/ Marathi from Primary education to graduation in Post graduation as well as in Degree in the Teaching education, as the case may be.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.47000-151100/- with Grade Pay Rs.4800/-
2. TRAINED GRADEATE TEACHER (TGT)
No. of Vacancies: 130 Nos. (UR-67, OBC-35, SC-19, ST-09. Out of the total posts, 04 posts are reserved for PWD)
Name of the subjects: Gujarati, English, Sanskrit, Maths, Science, SS, PT, Hindi, Computer & Marathi.
Educational Qualification: i) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University i.e. Graduate with B.Ed. in respective subject and medium i.e. Gujarati, Marathi, Hindi and English Medium.
ii) Science and Maths: Science graduate with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or its equivalent or four years integrated B.Sc., B.Ed. or an equivalent course.
iii) Arts- Arts/ Commerce Graduate with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or an equivalent course.
iii) Physical Education- Graduate with Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or an equivalent course.
iv) Computer: Degree in BCA or B.E (Computer) or B.Sc. (Computer) or “A” level from DOEADC or its equivalent course from a recognized University or Institute.
Note: Candidates should be having proficiency in Gujarati/ Marathi/ English/ Hindi language.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 35 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.47600-142400/- with Grade Pay Rs.4600/-

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
