223 ABOD Suranussi (Jalandhar) is inviting application for 41 posts of – Mazdoor, Lister Driver, Tentmender, Lower Division Clerk, Cook, Tailor and Upholster. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed Application format and should reach by Ordinary post within scheduled date. Qualification and eligibility norms is given below —
1. Mazdoor: 26 Nos. (Gen—16; OBC—10). Out of total vacancies, Sportsperson—1nos., PH—1; Ex-Serviceman—2nos.
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent. Written Examination will be there for selection purpose.
2. Lister Driver: 1 Nos. (SC)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent. Candidates must have Heavy Duty driving licence and knowledge of driving Fork Lifter.
3. Tentmender: 7 Nos. (Gen—4; OBC—3)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and Knowledge of repairing the tents.
4. Lower Division Clerk: 4 Nos. (Gen—2; OBC—2)
Qualification: Class 12 pass or equivalent. Candidates must have speed of not less than 35 words per minute in typewriting in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi. Skill test will be taken on computer/ Typewriter.
5. Cook: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and experience in cooking in various types of dishes.
6. Tailor: 1 Nos. (OBC)
Qualification: matriculation or equivalent. Candidates must have ITI or equivalent certificate/diploma in trade of Tailor.
7. Upholster: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent. Certificate in the trade from ITI or 3 years training and / or experience of actual work in the trade.
Age Limits: (For all posts) Between 18yrs to 25yrs as on last date of application. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs and Others—as per norms.
Selection of the candidates will be through Test/ Interview and will be held at – 223 ABOD on the date mentioned in acknowledgement card. Acknowledgement card will be sent to the eligible candidates only.
How to Apply: Candidates must apply on prescribed Application format. The application form should be enclosed with attested copies of testimonials and documents in support of Qualification, Age proof, Caste, Trade knowledge certificate, PH or Ex-Serviceman certificate (in case of PH/Ex.S) and Etc.
Candidates must enclose One self-addressed envelope affixing postal stamps of Rs.22/- on it.

Last Date of Application: Application along with application should reach on or before 16th February 2013.
