Metal & Steel Factory, Ishapore, is inviting Online Application form for appointment as Industrial Employee in Semi Skilled Grade. Total vacancies—231 Nos. Trades — Machinist, Fitter, Turner, Millwright, Carpenter, Blacksmith, Grinder, Welder, Mason, Chemical Process Worker, Boiler Attendant and Etc. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria is as follows —

4. Millwright: 10 Nos (Gen—5; SC—3; ST—1; OBC—1)
5. Carpenter: 3 Nos. (Gen)
6. Fitter Elec.: 10 Nos (Gen—5; SC—2; ST—1; OBC—2)
7. Blacksmith: 5 Nos. (Gen—5; SC—1; OBC—1)
8. Fitter Pipe: 5 Nos. (Gen—4; SC—1)
9. Grinder: 6 Nos. (Gen—4; SC—1; OBC—1)
10. Fitter Inst.: 2 Nos. (Gen—1; OBC—1)
11. Welder: 1 Nos. (Gen)
12. Mason Brick: 6 Nos. (Gen—4; SC—1; OBC—1)

N.B: Out of total vacancies, 25 is reserved for Ex-servicemen and 7 for PWD candidates.
Qualification: Matriculation pass And National Apprentice Certificate (NAC)/National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by NCVT.
If candidates with NAC/NTC are not available in a particular trade then applicants with ITI or equivalent qualification will be considered against vacancy of the trade.
Candidates with higher qualification such as Degree or Diploma in Engineering, are not eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Between 18yrs to 32yrs as on last date of Online application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Application Fee of Rs.50/- through any branches of State Bank of India by means of Fee payment Challan in a specially opened Account No. “PowerJyoti” 00000032989999677 of SBI, Barrackpore.
The Fee Payment Challan will be available at the factory’s website, which will be generated automatically upon successful submission of Online Application form only.
No Application Fee in case of SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Trade Test. Candidates who will qualify Written Test will be only called for Trade Test.
The syllabus for written test for a trade will be broadly that of the NCVT examination syllabus for that trade.
Date and venue of Examination will be intimated in due course to the eligible candidates through Admit Card.
Candidates will require to download their Admit Card from the factory’s website by providing their Registration Number, in due course.

Candidates, at first, fill the Application form with proper information and then shall submit it. Upon successful submission of the form, system will generate a fee payment Challan which candidates must print-out it on plain paper (Not applicable for SC/ST/PWD/ Ex-Serv. and Female candidates, they will be skipped from this step) and shall visit their nearest branch of State Bank of India to deposit the above prescribed Application Fee.
After depositing the Application Fee, candidates must revisit the factory’s website on next day and must open their submitted Application form to enter the fee details, such as ‘Journal No.’ which will be issued by the Bank.
N.B: Candidates must print-out the system generated Application form which will appear after successful submission of online application with unique Registration Number, for records and further use.
There is no need to send any documents or print-outs to the factory.
