Under Ministry of Defence, 24 FAD C/O  56 APO is recruiting 41 Fireman and Mazdoor. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format (See PDF below) along with attested copies of testimonials. Educational qualification requirement and other norms in brief are given below —

1. FIREMAN
No. of Vacancies: 8 Nos. (Gen—4; SC—1; ST—1; Backlog vacancies for PH—2)
Educational Qualification: Class 10 passed.
Physical Standards—
— Height Without Shoes – 165 cm
— Chest(un-expended)- 81.5 cm
— Chest (on expansion) – 86 cm
— Minimum Weight: 50 kgs
Note: A concession of 2.5 cm, in height or chest may be allowed for candidates of SC/ST candidates from hilly areas.

ENDURANCE AND FITNESS TEST FOR FIREMAN
(a) Carrying a man (Fireman lift of 63.5 Kg to a distance of 183 meters within 96 seconds
(b) Clearing 2.7 meters wide ditch landing on both feet (long jump)
(c) Climbing 3 meters vertical rope using hands and feet
(d) Written Test

Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-

2. MAZDOOR
No. of Vacancies: 33 Nos. (Gen—16; ST—8; OBC—06; Backlog vacancies for Ex-Servicemen—3)
Educational Qualification: Class 10 passed. Candidates shall be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1800/-

Age Limit (for all posts): 18 to 25 years as on last date of receipt of application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test which will be objective type. See the PDF for more details. Date and venue of examination will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course.
