SENIOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANT/ SENIOR SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT

Group wise vacancies:
i. Chemistry: 02 posts (UR-01, ST-01)
ii. Electrical: 02 posts (UR-01, SC-01)
iii. Civil: 01 post (UR)
iv. Mechanical: 01 post (UR)
Educational Qualification:
i) For Chemistry:- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or allied subjects with at least 55% marks from a recognised institution with minimum 03 years relevant experience.
ii) For Electrical:- Three years’ Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer Science Engineering with minimum 55% marks from a recognized institution with minimum 03 years relevant experience.
iii) For Civil:- Three years’ Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 55% marks from a recognized institution with minimum 03 years relevant experience.
iv) For Mechanical:- Three years’ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 55% marks from a recognized institution with minimum 03 years relevant experience.
Candidates should have experience of working in MS-Office and other computer softwares relevant to the area of work/ specialization.
Desirable: Experience in handling sophisticated laboratory equipment in reputed Educational Institutions or Research Laboratories.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 27/08/2018.
2. TECHNICAL ASSISTANT/ SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT

vi. Glass Blowing: 01 post (UR)
Educational Qualification:

vi) For Glass Blowing:- Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent and two years certificate training course in Scientific Glass Blowing from training centre of Govt. Scientific Glass Blowing training centre, Guindy (Chennai), TIFR (Bombay), BARC (Bombay), NPL (Delhi), NCL (Pune) and CSIR institutions with minimum 04 years relevant experience.
v) Candidates should have experience of working in MS-Office and other computer softwares relevant to the area of work/ specialization.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test, Computer Test, Practical-cum-Aptitude Test and Interview wherever applicable.
