Coal India Limited (CIL) is recruiting 317 Medical Executives (Medical Specialist and Sr. Medical Officer) for their Hospital/ Dispensaries at coalfield areas. TOTAL VACANCIES: 317 Nos. (Unreserved – 157; OBC—81; SC—52; ST—27). The break up of vacancies is as follows —
1. SPECIALIST: 150 VACANCIES.
(a) Sr. Medical Specialist in E4 Grade
Qualification: MBBS with recognised Post-Graduate Degree/ Diploma with 3 yrs post-qualification experience in the relevant speciality (For Surgery, Medicine & Pulmonary medicine – minimum qualification is PG Degree only)
Pay Scale: Rs.29100—54500/- plus other allowances as per norms.
(b) Medical Specialist in E3 Grade
Qualification: MBBS with recognised Post-Graduate Degree/ Diploma in the relevant speciality (For Surgery, Medicine & Pulmonary medicine – minimum qualification is PG Degree only)
Pay Scale: Rs.24900—50500/- plus other allowances as per norms.
2. SR. MEDICAL OFFICER IN E3 GRADE: 167 VACANCIES
Qualification: MBBS with minimum 60% marks in aggregate (55% in case of SC/ST and PH candidates)
Pay Scale: Rs.24900 – 50500/- plus other allowances as per norms.
Age Limits as on 01-05-2013—
For Sr. Medical Specialist: maximum 35yrs.
For Medical Specialist: Maximum 30yrs.
For Sr. Medical Officer: Maximum 30yrs.
Upper age relaxation for OBC is 3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs and PH—10yrs.
Selection of the candidates will be through Personal Interview. Candidates called for Interview may answer in English or in Hindi.
Date and venue of Interview will be intimated in due course through call letters.
