- FIRE SUPERVISOR
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR-01)
Educational Qualification: 12th Standard Pass.
Candidates must have done Senior Fire Supervisor Course and must be conversant with the use and maintenance of all types of extinguishers hose fittings and fire appliances and equipments like engines trailer fire pumps foam branches etc.
Desirable: Station Officers course from National Fire Service College Nagpur.
Experience of instructional duties in a fire service Organisation.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-25 years as on last date of application form.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.29,200/- per month.
- FIRE ENGINE DRIVER
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos.
Educational Qualification: 10th Standard pass.
Candidates must have at least three years experience of driving heavy vehicles and be in possession of valid driving licence.
Desirable: i) Should be familiar with maintenance and operation of various types of fire appliances.
ii) Experience of having worked in a regular civil or Defence fire Brigade as Fireman Grade I or Senior Fireman.
iii) Should have passed the general fire Fighting course.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-25 years as on last date of application form.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.21,700/- per month.
- FIREMAN
No. of Vacancies: 16 Nos. (UR-10, SC-01, ST-01, OBC-04)
Educational Qualification: 10th Standard pass.
i) Conversant with the use and maintenance of all types of extinguishers, hose, fittings and fire appliances and equipment fire engines, trailer pumps, foam branches.
ii) Familiar with first aid use and maintenance of fire fighting appliances and Trailer Fire Pump.
iii) Must know Elementary Principle of Fire Fighting methods employed in Fighting different types of fire.
iv) Must be conversant with foot and appliance Fire Service Drills and be able to perform the task allotted to the members of fire crew.
v) Must have served in a recognized Civil or Defence Fire Brigades as Fireman Grade II for a minimum period of three years.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-25 years as on last date of application form.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.19,900/- per month.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards (For Fire Engine Driver and Fireman only):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 165 cm (162.5 cm for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 81.5 cm; Chest (expanded) — 85 cm; Weight — 50
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Physical Test and Written Test.
