5121 ASC BN (MT), under Ministry of Defence is recruiting 100 Group ‘C’ (Erstwhile Group-D) in the post of – Mechanic, Multi Tasking Staff, Lower Division, Cleaner, Cook, Driver and Tarpaulin Maker. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format (see below). Recruitment Notice 02/2013. Educational requirement and eligibility norms in brief are given below —
1. Vehicle Mechanic (Male only): 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent with ITI/ NCTVT, etc, certificate in the trade as well as minimum 02 years experience), after passing SSC /
equivalent examination with English and Local language, as one of the subjects. In the trade.
2. Safaiwala (Multitasking Staff) (Male only): 2 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent. Desirable—One year experience in the trade.
3. Lower Division Clerk (for both Male/ Femace candidates): 4 Nos. (Gen—1; SC—2; OBC—1)
Qualification: Class 12 pass or equivalent and English typing at 30 words per minute on computer or Hindi typing at 30 words per minute on computer.
4. Cleaner (for Vehichles) (Male only): 3 Nos. (Gen—2; SC—1)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent. Desirable—proficiency in the trade.
5. Cook (Male only): 3 Nos. (Gen—2; OBC—1)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and must have knowledge of Indian cooking and proficiency in the trade.
6. Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade) (Male only): 86 Nos. (Gen—42; SC—23; OBC—21)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and must possess Driving Licence for heavy vehicles and minimum 02 yrs of driving such vehicles.
7. Tarpaulin Maker (Male only): 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Matriculation pass or equivalent. Desirable—proficiency in the trade.
Age Limit: Between 18yrs to 25yrs for all post except Civilian Motor Driver (CMD). Between 18yrs to 27yrs for CMD. Upper age relaxation for SC is 05yrs; OBC—03yrs and Ex-Servicemen—as per norms.
Age will counted as on last date of Application.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – 20200 with Grade Pay: Rs.1800/ Rs.1900, as applicable.
All the posts are temporary but likely to become permanent after a probation period of two years. Selection of the candidates will be through Physical Endurance Test, Written Test, Practical Test (wherever applicable) and Interview.
