Indo – Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) is recruiting 516 Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer,), Head Constable (Combatant Ministerial) and Head Constable (Education & Stress Counsellor). Both Male and Female candidates may apply. Application form is to be submitted on prescribed format with below mentioned date. Qualification norms and brief information is mentioned below—
1. Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer): 106 Nos. (Gen—76; SC—17; ST—10; OBC—3)
Qualification: Intermediate or 10+2 and ability to take dictation at 80 words per minute and Transcription on Computer in Hindi or English.
Candidates must have basic computer knowledge.
Physical Standard –
Height: 170 cms (Male); 157 cms (Female); Chest (Unexpanded/ Expanded) (Male only): 80/85cms.
2. Head Constable (ESC): 255 Nos. (Gen-130; SC—38; ST—19; OBC—68)
Qualification: Degree with Psychology as a subject OR Degree with Bachelor of Education/ Bachelor of Teaching.
Physical Standard –
Height: 170 cms (Male); 157 cms (Female); Chest (Unexpanded/ Expanded) (Male only): 80/85cms.
3. Head Constable (CM – Direct Entry): 130 Nos. (Gen—65; SC—20; ST—10; OBC—35)
Qualification: Intermediate or 10+2 and ability to Type 35 words per minute in English and 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer.
Physical Standard –
Height: 165 cms (Male); 155 cms (Female); Chest (Unexpanded/ Expanded) (Male only): 77/82cms.
4. Head Constable (CM – Limited Deptt. Exam ITBP Personnel): 25 Nos. (Gen—18; SC—4; ST—3)
Qualification and Physical Standard: Same as above post.
Age Limits (For all posts): between 18yrs to 25yrs as on 14/12/2012. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs and Others—as per norms.
