EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION (Common for all posts): Candidates must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent
Technical Qualification —
(A) FOR TYPIST:
Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting either
(i) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or)
(ii) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English (or)
(iii) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil.
(B) FOR STENO-TYPIST, GRADE III :
Must have passed the Government Technical Examination both in Typewriting and in Shorthand:-
(i) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or)
(ii) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English (or)
(iii) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil.
There will be Written Examination (Objective Type) for the selection purpose which will be on following subjects (Common to all posts) — General Studies, General Tamil and General English. Total marks will be 300 and duration – 3hrs. Refer the Advt. (link given below) for details.
Tentative date of Written Examination — 25/08/2013 from 10 AM to 1 PM
How to Apply: Eligible and Interested candidates may apply online from the official website of Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission — www.tnpsc.gov.in or www.tnpscexams.net. (Live url is given below).
Before applying, the candidates should have scanned image of their photograph and signature for uploading during form submission.
During registration, candidates must mention their valid email id because TNPSC will send Hall Tickets (Memorandum of Admission) for Written Examination and Other Memos etc. to the registered/given e-mail ID only.
Application Fee (For all posts): Rs.125/- (Includes Examination fee + Cost of Application) Those who have registered in the One – Time Registration system, and paid the registration fee of Rs.50/- and received the registration ID need not pay the cost of application for a period of 5 years from the date of registration even if he applies for any other posts subsequently notified by the Commission. But those candidates shall pay examination fee, if applicable, on any other occasion. Refer the Advt. for details.
The Application Fee can be paid Online through Net Banking/ Credit/Debit card. Candidates may also opt to pay Offline through Bank/ Post Office by means of system generated fee payment challan.
Fee challan will be generated automatically and will appear on the computer screen once the candidates submit his/her Online application form.
After final submission of Online application form, a system generated Registration slip will appear on the screen. Candidates must print-out it and retain safely for future use. There is no need to send anything to anywhere.
