Railway Recruitment Cell —West Central Railway (WCR), Jabalpur, is inviting Application form for recruitment against Ex-Servicemen Quota in Erstwhile Group-D posts. Total vacancies— 590 Nos. (Gangman, Helper, Safaiwala, Porter, Khalasi, Peon, Attendant, etc). Employment Notice No. WCR/ExSM/01/2013. Eligible ex-servicemen may apply on prescribed application format within scheduled date (See below). Qualification norms and eligibility criteria in brief is given below —

Post/ Trades — Gangman, Helper, Safaiwala, Parcel Porter, Station Porter, Pointsman, Store Khalasi, Office Peon, Hospital Attendant. etc.
Eligibility Criteria —
Ex-Serviceman who have retired after putting in 15 years of service and have passed Army Class-I certificate or equivalent are eligible to apply, provided they have put in a minimum of 6 months attested service.
Age as on 01-06-2013: 33 years + extent of military service + 3 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST (Ex-servicemen) is 5yrs and OBC (Ex-servicemen) is 3yrs.
Selection steps: The names of eligible candidates will be arranged in the order of merit on the basis of total length of military service and ex-Servicemen over and above 20% of vacancies will be called for verification of original documents.
After verification of document a final panel will be prepared from this list. Allotment of post will be done on the basis of merit-cum-medical fitness-cum-choice of the candidate.
There will be no written examination/interview or Physical Efficiency Test but Medical Examination for fitness test. Only those candidates who are medically fit would be offered appointment.
There is no examination fee.

The Application form must be enclosed with attested copies of testimonials (Discharge certificate/ book, Caste certificate in case of SC/ST/OBC, Age proof documents and any other relevant documents)
The filled-in applications along with the required documents should be addressed to — “Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Railway Recruitment Cell, West Central Railway, RB-III/ 422/1-2, Nehru Railway Colony, Howbagh, Jabalpur.”.
The application should be sent by ORDINARY POST so as to reach this office before the closing date, or should be dropped in the box provided at the Railway Recruitment Cell/Jabalpur situated at above address.
