Category wise vacancies:
i) General Nurse & Midwife: 3856 posts (Female: 3652 posts (UR-375, SC-1562, ST-339, OBC-943, PWD-433), Male: 204 posts (UR-41, SC-79, ST-17, OBC-54, PWD-13)).
ii) Basic B.Sc. Nursing: 3858 posts (Female) (UR-1513, SC-981, ST-324, OBC-818, PWD-222).
iii) Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing: 445 posts (Female) (UR-235, SC-95, ST-26, OBC-76, PWD-13).
Educational Qualification:
i) General Nursing and Midwifery/ Basic B.Sc. (Nursing)/ Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) course passed from any Nursing Training School/ College of Nursing recognized by both Indian Nursing Council and Respective State Nursing Council.
ii) Registration as Female/ Male Nurse Midwifery from West Bengal Nursing Council.
iii) Knowledge of Bengali/ Nepali- Spoken and written.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 39 years as on 01.01.2019.
Pay Scale: Rs. 7,100/- – 37,600/- with Grade Pay Rs. 3,600/-.
