Educational Qualification:
i) Pass in Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
ii) Ability to read ,write and speak in Bengali (not required for those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali).
iii) Must possess sound health and ability to undertake extensive tours in rural areas of West Bengal.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01.01.2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.5,400/- to 25,200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2,600/-
The vacancies are in the Subordinate Food & Supplies Service, under Food & Supplies Department, Govt. of West Bengal. The candidates will initially be appointed on Temporary basis.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for BC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms. Reserved Category candidates from the states other than West Bengal shall be treated as General Candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Personality Test. The written test will be held at various centres in West Bengal. The Personality Test will be held in the office of the Public Service Commission, West Bengal, in Kolkata.
