SCI Junior Court Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates must fulfil the prescribed age, educational qualification and other conditions as on 1st September 2026.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University in India.
- Knowledge of Computer operation with a typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in computer.
Age Limit (as on 01/09/2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
Age Relaxation:
- Usual age relaxation will be admissible to candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer), Physically Challenged and Ex-servicemen, as per Government of India’s Rules.
- Relaxation up to maximum of five years, over and above the prescribed age limit of thirty years, will be admissible to dependents of freedom fighters.
- There will be no upper age limit for the Departmental candidates of the Registry of the Supreme Court of India.
- No relaxation in age will be allowed to the candidates working in other Government Departments/Public Sector Undertakings/Nationalized Banks, etc.

The benefit of reservation will be in accordance with Rule 4A of the Supreme Court Officers and Servants (Conditions of Service and Conduct) Rules, 1961.
