Marks of Candidates

RPSC has also released the subject-wise marks of candidates for all eight subjects. These are available in the Results section of the official website: Check RPSC Ayurved Lecturer Marks.

What Is Mentioned in the RPSC Ayurved Lecturer Merit List?

RPSC merit lists generally contain the following details. Check each entry carefully after opening your subject’s PDF:

  • Name of the post and subject
  • Advertisement number and date
  • Roll numbers of candidates placed in the merit list, in order of merit
  • Category of each selected candidate (General, OBC, MBC, EWS, SC, ST and sub-categories such as women or PwD, where applicable)
  • Notes on provisional selection and conditions attached to it

Since most subjects had just one post, the merit list for each subject is expected to be very short.

What Is the Main Merit List?

The main merit list is the list of candidates recommended against the advertised posts, prepared in order of merit after all stages of selection. A recommendation in the main list is usually provisional and depends on the candidate meeting every eligibility condition in the advertisement and clearing document checks by the department.

Marks of Candidates

The marks released by RPSC let candidates see their own performance and compare it with the selected candidates. This helps in understanding how far one was from the cut-off and in preparing better for future Ayurveda lecturer and assistant professor recruitments.

RPSC Ayurved Lecturer Selection Process

The Lecturer (Ayurved Department) Recruitment 2025 was conducted in the following stages:

  1. Written exam (CBRT): A computer-based recruitment test was held on 12 January 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM. It was RPSC’s first online exam in about seven years.
  2. Interview: Candidates shortlisted on the basis of the written test were called for interview.
  3. Main merit list: The final merit list was prepared on the basis of the combined performance and released on 28 October 2026.

Note: RPSC also carried out extra checks in this recruitment. In September 2025, the commission found that 19 candidates had submitted 169 applications for just 9 posts and called them for document verification. Candidates should make sure all the details and documents they submitted are accurate, as any mismatch can lead to cancellation even after selection.
