ONGC Apprentice Selection Process 2026
There is no written exam. The selection is based on the marks obtained in the qualifying exam, and if two candidates have the same marks, the older candidate gets preference.
- ONGC collects the applications from the NAPS and NATS portals and sorts them trade-wise and work-centre-wise.
- The applications are checked for qualification, age, relaxation and domicile.
- A provisional merit list is made for each trade and work centre, on the marks in the qualifying exam.
- Candidates are shortlisted for document verification, and the list is put on the ONGC website or sent by email.
