ANDUAT Professor Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfil the educational qualification and experience requirements prescribed for their respective posts. The eligibility criteria are different for Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor positions.
1. Educational Qualification for Professor
Candidates applying under Advertisement No. 13/2026 must fulfil the following requirements:
- A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the relevant discipline.
- A Ph.D. degree in the concerned, allied or relevant discipline.
- At least 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed/NAAS-rated journals.
- A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in a university or college.
- At least two years of experience as an Associate Professor or equivalent.
- A total research score of 120 as prescribed in the notification.
The notification also provides alternative eligibility routes for outstanding professionals and eligible CGIAR or international organisation scientists, subject to the prescribed conditions.
2. Educational Qualification for Associate Professor
Candidates applying under Advertisement No. 14/2026 and 16/2026 must meet the following requirements:

- At least eight years of teaching and/or research experience in an eligible academic or research position.

3. Educational Qualification for Assistant Professor
Candidates applying under Advertisement No. 15/2026 and 17/2026 must fulfil the following general requirements:
- A relevant Bachelor’s Degree with the prescribed minimum marks.
- A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in the concerned, relevant or allied subject.
- NET conducted by ICAR, UGC or CSIR, or an equivalent accredited SLET/SET qualification.
- Candidates holding a Ph.D. under the applicable UGC Regulations of 2009 or 2016 may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET, subject to the prescribed conditions.
For Veterinary Science posts under Advertisement No. 17/2026, candidates must also possess a recognised veterinary qualification and registration with the appropriate veterinary council, along with B.V.Sc. & A.H. and the relevant Master’s Degree.

ANDUAT Professor Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
The age conditions are specified separately in the recruitment advertisements.
- Advertisement No. 16/2026: The notification states that there is no upper age limit.
