PUNJAB PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (PUNJAB PSC) INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 08 ACCOUNTANT AND DEPUTY CURATOR. LAST DATE — 14/02/2020

 

1. ACCOUNTANT

No. of Vacancies: 07 Nos.

Educational Qualification: i) Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Bachelor’s Degree with Economics or Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subject from a recognized University or Institution.
ii) Should possess minimum six months certificate course in Computer data entry with proficiency of tally software either from a Government recognized Institution or a reputed Institution which is ISO 9001 certified.
OR
Possess a Computer Information Technology six months course in computer data entry with proficiency of tally software equivalent to ‘O’ level certificate of DOEACC or Government of India.
iii) Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard is essential.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years as on 01/01/2020.

Pay Scale: Rs.10300 — Rs.34800

 

2. DEPUTY CURATOR

No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.

Educational Qualification: i) M.A in second division in History OR Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology or History of Art or Anthropology from a recognized University or Institution.
ii) Should have training in the field of Archaeology or Museum from the Archaeological Survey of India or National Museum or State Archaeology or recognized Institution, for a minimum period of 02 years.
iii) Should have 03 years experience after undergoing training.
OR
(a) Should be M.A in first Class or Ph.D in History or Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archeology.
(b) Should have training in the field of Archaeology or Museum from the Archaeological Survey of India or National Museum or State Archaeology or recognized institution, for a minimum period of 02 years.
iv) Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard is essential.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years as on 01/01/2020.

Pay Scale: Rs.10300 — Rs.34800

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ BC and 10 years for PWD category of Punjab. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

The vacancies are under the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Department of Tourism and Culture Affairs.

The selected candidates will be on probation period of three years.

Reserved Category candidates from the states other than Punjab will be treated as General Category candidates.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Competitive Examination.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Examination Fee of Rs.3000/- (Rs.1125/- for SC/ ST of all States and BC of Punjab State; Rs.1750/- for PH of Punjab State; Rs.500/- for Ex-Servicemen of Punjab State). Fee can be paid through Bank only by means of Fee Payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of Punjab Public Service Commission (Punjab PSC). Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO PUNJAB PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (PUNJAB PSC) AT THIS STAGE.
