Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) is recruiting eligible candidates for 08 posts of Land Acquisition Facilitator, Accountant, Anganwadi Counsellor (Female) and Data Entry Operator. The vacancies are in various Project Implementation Units (PIUs) under Jal Marg Vikas Project (JMVP) on National Waterway-1 being implemented with technical and financial support from the World Bank. The candidates will be appointed on Short-term Contract basis initially for a period of One year, extendable for further period of the Project as per requirement. 1. LAND ACQUISITION FACILITATOR
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (Varanasi- 01, Sahibganj- 01)
Educational Qualification: i) Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences.
ii) Revenue Officers retired from the State Governments of Jharkhand, Bihar or Uttar Pradesh will be preferred.
iii) Ability to use MS Excel and MS Word.
Experience: Minimum 05 years’ experience.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.60,000/- per month.
2. ACCOUNTANT
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (Sahibganj)
Educational Qualification: Graduate in Commerce or CA Intermediate Pass with knowledge of Tally/ other Accounting Software.
Experience: Minimum 03 years post qualification experience in Accounts and Finance in a reputed company.
Desirable: i) Post Graduate in Commerce.
ii) Experience in working in a Government Organization/ Office.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.35,000/- per month.
3. ANGANWADI COUNSELLOR (FEMALE)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (Sahibganj)
Educational Qualification: Graduate in Social Sciences.
Experience: Minimum one year’s experience in conducting social development consultative and participatory approaches.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.25,000/- per month.
4. DATA ENTRY OPERATOR
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos. (Patna- 01, Sahibganj- 01, Kolkata- 01, Haldia- 01)
Educational Qualification: i) Graduation from a recognised University.
ii) Knowledge of various Computer operating systems, such as MS Word, Excel, Access, Power Point etc. with a speed of 8000 key presses per hour.
iii) Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
Experience: Minimum two years’ experience in Data Entry work.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.20,000/- per month.
