1. JUNIOR SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: i) (a) Graduate and Diploma in Special Education (MR) or equivalent with 02 years experience of working with children with mentalretardation.
OR
(b) B.Ed in Special Education (MR).
OR
(c) B.R.S.(MR) with specialization in Special Education.
ii) RCI registration as personnel/ professional in Special education (MR).
Desirable: i) Should have studied Telugu up to SSC for the position at Special Education Centre, NIEPID, Secunderabad.
OR
ii) Should have studied Hindi up to SSC for the Position at NIEPID-MSEC (formerly MSMDC), New Delhi.

2. STATISTICAL ASSISTANT

Educational Qualification: Masters Degree in Statistics from recognized University.
Desirable: Experience of applying statistics in psychology and education.

3. VOCATIONAL INSTRUCTOR GR- II

Educational Qualification: i) 10+2 with DVR (MR)/ DVTE (MR).
ii) Valid Registration with RCI as Professional/ Personnel.
Experience: Two years experience.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 15/06/2020.
4. PRINCIPAL

Educational Qualification: Masters Degree in Social Sciences with M.Ed, Special Education (MR).
Experience: Ten years experience.
Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in supervisory capacity or as Principal of Special School.

5. HOME VISITOR/ TEACHER

Educational Qualification: i) Degree from a recognized University.
ii) Master’s Degree in Social Work.

6. JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT

Experience: Minimum 03 years of experience.

7. DRIVER

Educational Qualification: i) 8th class pass possessing Heavy Vehicle/ Light Vehicle/ Running License from the competent authority.
ii) Should be able to undertake minor repairs and attend to the maintenance and upkeep of the vehicles.
Experience: Two years driving experience.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 15/06/2020.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. norms.
The candidates will be appointed by Direct Recruitment at National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (NIEPID) Headquarters, Model Special Education Centre, Noida, RC Noida, RC Kolkata and RC Navi Mumbai.
The candidates should possess valid RCI/ MCI registration as on the last date of receipt of application for the posts at Sl. No.1, 3, 4 and 6.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on Merit basis for Group ‘B’ & ‘C’ posts and selection procedure for Group ‘A’ posts will be as per NIEPID norms.
