ACTUARIAL APPRENTICES
No. of Vacancies: 07 Nos. (Non-Life Reinsurance- 04 posts, Life Reinsurance- 02 posts, Obligatory Cell- 01 post)
Educational Qualification: i) Graduation/ Post Graduation in Science from recognized University with Mathematics or Statistics as main subject with 60% or more marks in aggregate.
OR
Graduation/ Post Graduation in Commerce from recognized University with Statistics/ Actuarial Science as main subject with 60% or more marks in aggregate.
OR
Graduation in Arts with Actuarial Science as major subject from recognized University with 60% or more marks.
OR
Post-graduate Diploma in Actuarial Science with 50% or more marks.
Note:- 10% relaxation in marks for SC/ST candidates.
ii) The candidate should have passed at least 07 actuarial subjects of exam conducted by Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) or Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFA).
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 27 years as on 30/09/2020.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.14000 — Rs.16000 per month.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 08 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. For PWD candidates as per Govt. norms.
The Apprenticeship will be for a period of Three (03) years.
The candidates may be considered for the post of Assistant Manager after passing 10 or more subjects. For more details please see the officially released advertisement.
The posting of selected candidates will be at Head Office of General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC Re).
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview/ Group Discussion. The Interview/ Group Discussion will be conducted only in Mumbai.
