Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan, Assam: The undersigned on behalf of the Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan, Assam, invites online applications through the official website of the Directorate of Technical Education, Assam i.e. www.dte.assam.gov.in from eligible candidates who are permanent residents of Assam for filling up of the vacant posts of (1) Graduate Teachers (Arts), (2) Graduate Teacher (Science), and (3) Graduate Teacher (Hindi) for the Adarsha Vidyalayas of Assam, which has CBSE affiliated English medium schools, located in educationally backward blocks of Assam. The scale of pay is Rs.14000/- to Rs. 49000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 8,700- PM with other allowances as admissible. The appointments shall be made purely on a contractual basis initially for a period of 11 months subject to renewal of the contract depending on satisfactory performance. Educational Qualification :
- For the post of Graduate Teacher (Arts), the candidate must be an Arts / Commerce Graduate or Post Graduate in Arts / Commerce from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (or its equivalent) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution(s).
- For the post of Graduate Teacher (Science), the candidate must be a Science Graduate or Post Graduate in Science from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (or it’s equivalent) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution(s).
- Pravin / Ratna in Hindi with 50% marks and degree qualification with 50% marks or Post Graduate degree in Arts with 50% marks from any recognized University,
Age Limit:
- A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 45 years as on 1st January, 2023
Criteria for Selection of Graduate Teacher (Arts and Science):
- 100 marks on the percentage of marks in the B.A/B.Com/B.Sc examination (in the case of Major/Hons, the marks obtained in Major/Hons shall be taken into consideration).
- 100 marks on a percentage of marks in the Higher Secondary final examination.
- 100 marks on the percentage of marks in the B.Ed .final examination.
- 100 marks on the percentage of marks in the TET examination.
Criteria for Selection (1) Graduate Teacher (Hindi):
- 100 marks on the percentage of marks in the BA Examination with the concerning language as one of the subjects or the highest degree in the language i.e. Pravin / Ratna Examination in the case of Hindi Teacher.
- 100 marks on the percentage of marks in the HS final examination.
- 100 marks on the percentage of marks in B.Ed. final examination.
- 100 marks on the percentage of marks in the TET examination.
Note:
- The Online Applications and documents submitted by the candidates will be verified along with their original testimonials, by the Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan, Assam (AVSA). The District-wise detailed schedule and venue for the Screening/ Verification of documents will be notified on the official website. No TA/DA is admissible for the verification process. District-wise verification will be conducted centrally by Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan. Candidates will be informed collectively on the official website by the competent authority of Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan.
- The Online Application and documents submitted by the candidate will be verified using modern technology with the help of DigiLocker, Govt. of India, and by scanning Barcode or QR Code for ensuring the genuineness of the uploaded documents as well as by back office verification with the competent board/ council/ authority. But the authority if desired may conduct physical document verification at any point in time with proper notice.
