United India Insurance Company Ltd (UIICL) is recruiting 350 persons for the post of “Administrative Officer (Scale I) in the discipline of Specialist and Generalist. Application from can be submitted Online from dated 7th April to 25th April-2012. Details below—

Discipline—Generalist and Specialist
No. of vacancies: 350 Nos. (Gen-192; SC-45; ST-21 and OBC-92). Out of them 12 posts for PWD candidates.
Eligibility/ Qualification according to Group wise—
Group A, Code No.01
Qualification: ACS / ACWA / ACA or M.com with 60% (55% for SC/ST candidates) marks in aggregate
Group B, Code No.02
Qualification: MCA/ MIT/ MCM or BE (Computer Science/ECE/EEE)
Group C, Code No.03
Qualification: Candidates should have done LLB or its equivalent. 3 years experience as a practicing lawyer is required. (2 yrs experience for SC/ST candidates)
Group D, Code no. 04
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in the disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Electronics and Metallurgy
Group E, Code No.05
Qualification: Post Graduate in statistics/ Mathematics/Actuarial Science. Pass in atleast three papers of the examination conducted Actuarial Society of India (any of the papers out of CT – 1, CT -2, CT – 3, CT – 5 and CT -7)
Group F, Code No.06
Qualification: Graduation with 60% (55% for SC/ST candidates) or Post Graduation with minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST candidates) marks in aggregate
Age limits: Candidates willing to apply for any one of above posts should be within 21yrs to 30yrs of age as on 31/12/2011. Age relaxation for SC/ST- 5yrs, OBC-3yrs, PWD- 10yrs and others—as per govt. norms.
Note: Candidates may apply for only any one of the above mentioned groups. Computer knowledge is essential and preference will be given to those candidates who have Post qualification experience in their area of specialization or candidates who have qualification in non-life Insurance.
Selection Steps: Candidates will be selected through Written Examination which would be of Multiple Choice Objective Type Question and Professional Knowledge Test specific to each of the mentioned Group.
Examination will be on dated 3/6/2012 at the respective centres at the selected cities.

Application Fee: Application fee of Rs.525 (Rs.125 for SC/ST /PWD and employees of UICCL) is required to deposit in any branch of State Bank of India. To deposit the fee, first visit the official site of UIICL, click the ‘Recruitment’ link and print-out the fee challan. Fee challan should be filled properly in Account No. 32225814791 in favour of “United India Insurance Company Limited”.

Now after filling the details, submit the application form. Right after submitting the application form, a system generated form will appear on the screen. Make a print-out copy of the generated form and keep safely for further reference. There is no need to send any application or documents by post.
All the required documents in original and copies will need to produce during Interview, if called.
During registration, candidates should mention their own valid email id. Call letters and other details will be sent through email only. Candidates can also download call letters from the official site right before two weeks of Written Examination.
