Required qualification according to Discipline/ Group wise—
Actuaries—Group A, Code No.01
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree with 55% in Mathematics/Statistics/Actuarial Science OR Graduation with minimum 60% marks and passes in at least 3 papers of the examination conducted by Actuarial Society of India
Agriculture—Group C, Code No.02
Qualification: Post Graduate in Agriculture Sciences with 55% marks OR B.E./B.Tech in Agriculture Engineering or B. Sc.(Agriculture) with 60% marks
Marketing—Group C, Code No.03
Qualification: PG Degree of MBA (Marketing/Sales) with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.
I.T.—Group D, Code No.04
Qualification: BE/B.Tech (Computer) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate or MCA/ MIT / MCM with minimum 55% marks in aggregate
Accounts—Group D, Code No.05
Qualification: ACS/ACWA/ACA or B.Com with min 60% OR M. Com with min 55% marks in aggregate.
Statistics—Group F, Code No.06
Qualification: Post Graduate in Statistics with 55% marks or Graduation in Statistics with min 60% marks.
Legal—Group G, Code No.07
Qualification: Bachelor of Law (min 60% marks) or LLM (min 55% marks) in aggregate. Should have minimum 3 years (2 years for SC/ST candidates) experience as a practicing lawyer.
Human Resources—Group H, Code No.08
Qualification: Post Graduate degree of MBA (HR) with 55% marks in aggregate.
Insurance & Risk Management—Group H, Code No.09
Qualification: Post Graduate Diploma Course in Insurance & Risk Management
Generalist—Group J, Code No.10
Qualification: Bachelor degree in any discipline with 60% marks OR Master Degree in any discipline with 55% marks in aggregate.
N.B: For SC/ST candidates the required minimum marks in Graduation is 55% or 50% marks in Post Graduation.
Candidates must have working knowledge in Computer
Age Limit: between 21yrs to 30yrs as on 1/4/2012. Age relaxation—OBC-3yrs; SC/ST-5yrs, PH-10yrs and Others—as per norms.
Pay Scale: Rs.17240—Rs.32640 plus other allowances.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection will be made through Written Examination and Interview. Objective types questions will be in Written Examination on following topics— (i) Reasoning, (ii) English Language, (iii) Numerical Ability and (iv) General Awareness (for Group- J)/ Professional Knowledge Test (for Group-A to I).
