AGRICULTURE DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 141 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Should possess degree in B.Sc. (Agriculture) with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University or Institution.
ii) Preference will be given to a candidate, who possesses a degree in M.Sc. (Agriculture) from a recognized University or Institution.
iii) Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent standard.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years as on 01/01/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600 — Rs.39100
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ BC and 10 years for PWD category of Punjab. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The vacancies are in the Department of Agriculture, Government of Punjab.
The selected candidates will be on Probation period of three (03) years.
Reserved Category candidates from the states other than Punjab will be treated as General Category candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Competitive Examination and Interview. The Competitive Examination is scheduled on 08/03/2020.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Examination Fee of Rs.3000/- (Rs.1125/- for SC/ ST of all States and Backward Classes of Punjab State; Rs,.1750/- for PWD Punjab State; Rs.500/- for Ex-Servicemen of Punjab state). Fee can be paid through Bank only by means of Fee Payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of Punjab Public Service Commission (Punjab PSC).
