No. of Vacancies: 107 Nos.
Stations wise vacancies:
Chennai: 25 posts (Gen-12, OBC-07, SC-04, ST-02)
Hyderabad: 45 posts (Gen-23, OBC-12, SC-07, ST-03)
Kerala: 37 posts (Gen-18, OBC-10, SC-06, ST-03)
Educational Qualification:
(i) Candidates with valid Basic AVSEC and/or Screener Certificate: Candidates should possess valid basic AVSEC Certificate and/or Screener Certificate.
(ii) Candidates without Basic AVSEC and/or Screener Certificate: Graduate in any discipline (minimum 3 years duration) with ability to speak Hindi, English and conversant with local language.
Age Limit: Maximum- 28 years as on 01/12/2016. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.14,610/- per month.
Physical Standards (For all above posts):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 170 cms (165 cms for SC and OBC candidates)
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 157 cms (155 cms for for SC and OBC candidates)
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Written Test.
Qualified candidates join AIATSL as Security Agents on a Fixed Term Contract for a period of 3 years at Chennai, Hyderabad and Kerala stations (Kochi, Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram) of Southern Region.
