Qualification
(1) For Medical Candidates:-
Essential: A medical qualification included in Schedule I or II or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (persons possessing a qualification included in Part II or Third Schedule must also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13 (3) of the Act. Persons must have a mandatory 1-year Internship must be completed.
Desirable: Candidates with an MD/MS from a recognized University/Institute.
(2) For Non-Medical Candidates:-
Essential: Post Graduate Qualification i.e. Post Graduate Degree in Discipline/Relevant Subject
Desirable: Candidates with a Ph.D. from a recognized University/Institute
