Education Qualification:
For Medical Candidates
Essential: To be considered for this position, you need to have a medical degree listed in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956. If you have a qualification listed in Part II or the third schedule, you must also meet the conditions outlined in section 13(3) of the Act. Additionally, you must have completed a one-year compulsory internship.
Desirable: Candidates with an MD/MS degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university or institute will be given preference.
For Non-Medical Candidates
Essential: Postgraduate qualification e.g. Master’s degree in the discipline/allied subject.
Desirable: A candidate with a Ph.D. from a recognized University/Institute in the concerned subject will be preferred.
Age Limit
Age Limit:- The maximum age limit is 37 years.
Upper Age Relaxation:
- The age relaxation for SC/ST candidates is up to a maximum period of 5 (Five) years and for OBC candidates up to 3 (Three) years for the respective posts.
- In the case of candidates with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) – age relaxation is provided up to a maximum period of 10 years for the General Category, 13 years for the OBC category, and 15 years for the SC/ST category.
