No. of Vacancies: 300 Nos.
(i) Male: 75 Posts. (Gen-36; SC-14; ST-05; OBC-20)
(ii) Female: 225 Posts. (Gen-107; SC-39; ST-16; OBC-63)
Educational Qualification: 10+2 pass and fluency in English and Hindi.
Candidates who are three years’ Degree/Diploma Holder in Hotel Management and Catering Technology and fluency in any Foreign Language of destination where Air India operates will be given preference will be given preference.
Age Limit: Between 18years and 27years as on 01.10.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.16,675/- and Rs.18400/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Physical Standards (For all above posts):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 172 cms (167 cms for SC/ST candidates)
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 160 cms (155 cms for SC/ST candidates)
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Group Dynamics & Personality Assessment Test and Written Test.
Candidates selected for the post may be posted at Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Calicut depending upon the requirement.
Candidates selected for the post will be on training period. During the period of training, the candidates will be given a stipend of Rs.15,000/- per month.
