AIRMEN IN GROUP ‘X’ (TECHNICAL TRADES) EXCEPT EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR TRADE
Educational Qualification: Passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
Three year Diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) from a recognized polytechnic Institute with minimum 50% marks in overall aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma or in intermediate/ matriculation if English is not a subject in diploma.
Age Limit: Born between 17/01/2000 and 30/12/2003.
Basic Pay: Rs.33100 per month
Note:- Only Unmarried Male candidates from the State of Odisha are eligible to apply.
The selected candidates will be sent for a Joint Basic Phase Training (JBPT) at designated Basic Training Institutes located at various air force stations. On successful completion of JBPT, candidates will be sent for trade training of specified duration which will include security training or any other training as per service requirements. During training, a stipend of Rs. 14,600/- per month will be paid to the candidates.
The candidates should possess the Medical and Physical Standards laid by Indian Air Force (IAF). For more details please see the officially released advertisement.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Written Test, Adaptability Test-1, Adaptability Test-2 and Medical Examination.
