AIRMEN
Educational Qualification: Candidate should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Class XII or Equivalent Examination in any stream/ subjects approved by Central/ State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate as well as in English in Class XII or equivalent examination.
OR
Passed two years vocational course from recognized Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course or in Intermediate/ Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.
NOTE: Only Unmarried Male candidates from the all the Districts of State of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura and Manipur are eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Born between 17/01/2000 and 30/12/2003.
Basic Pay: Rs.26900 per month initially.
Candidates must possess basic competency in swimming.
Initially, the selected candidates will be sent for a Joint Basic Phase Training (JBPT) at designated Basic Training Institutes located at various Air Force Stations. On successful completion of JBPT, candidates will be sent for trade training of specific duration which will include Security training or any other training as per service requirements. During the training period, a stipend of Rs. 14,600/- per month will be paid to the candidates.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 152.5 cm; Chest — Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm; Weight — Proportionate to height and age.
Candidates must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Written Test, Adaptability Test-1, Adaptability Test-2, Dynamic Factor Test (DFT) and Medical Examination.
