JUNIOR ASSISTANT (FIRE SERVICE)

Total Vacancies: 06 Nos. (UR-59, SC-12, ST-16, OBC-19)

Educational Qualification: 10th Pass + 3 years approved regular Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile / Fire with minimum 50% marks OR 12th pass (Regular Study) with 50% marks.
Candidates must have valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License OR valid Medium Vehicles License issued at least one year before 30.06.2016 or valid Light Motor Vehicles License issued at least two years before as on 30.06.2016

 

Desirable Qualification:
Weightage shall be given to a candidates possessing any one or more qualification mentioned below (subject to maximum limit of the following)
a) Computer Science as subject at 12th class level
b) NCC “B” Certificate
c) Relevant experience in an aviation / regular / industrial fire service
d) Basic Fire Fighting Training Courses from AAI Fire Training Establishment
e) Sub Fire Office Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur

 

Physical Fitness:
Height: Minimum 167 cms.
Chest: Unexpansion-81 cm and Expansion-86 cm
Weight: 55 Kg
Hearing and Speech: Normal

Candidates must be free from any physical deformation and must be physically fit.

 

Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-30 years as on 30/06/2016

 

Pay Scale: Rs.12,500/- Rs.28,500/-

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

Only the candidates who are domicile of West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, Andaman & Nicobar and Sikkim States are eligible to apply.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Computer based/ online Examination, Physical Measurement, Driving Test and Physical Endurance Test.

Computer based/ online Examination will be held in Kolkata, Bhubaneshwar and Raipur.

Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of Airports Authority of India

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen.
