JUNIOR ASSISTANT (FIRE SERVICES)
No. of vacancies: 60 Nos. (Gen-30, SC-09, ST-05, OBC-16)
Educational Qualification: 10th Pass plus 03 years approved regular Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile / Fire with minimum 50% marks OR 12th Pass (Regular Study) with 50 % marks.
Candidates must have Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License, Valid Medium Vehicle License issued at least one year before as on 30.06.2016. (OR) Valid Light Motor Vehicle License issued at least two years before 30.06.2016
Desirable:
Weight age shall be given to a candidate possessing any one or more (subject to maximum limit) of the following
a) Computer Science as subject at 12th class level.
b) NCC ‘B’ Certificate.
c) Relevant experience in an aviation/regular/industrial fire service.
d) Basic Fire Fighting Training Course from AAI Fire Training Establishment.
e) Sub Fire Officer Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur.
Physical Fitness:
Height: 167 cm
Chest: 81 Cm and expansion 5 Cms.
Weight: 55 Kg.
Eye Sight: Distance Vision – 6/6 with each Eye without Glasses. Near Vision – N5 with each Eye without glasses.
(Relaxation of 3 cms in height and chest measurement and proportionate relaxation in weight will be allowed to hilly area candidates and minimum chest expansion must be 5 cms)
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-30 years as on 30.06.2016.
Pay Scale: Rs.12500/- Rs.28500/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Online Exam, Physical Measurement, Driving Test and Physical Endurance Test. Online test will be held at Delhi / NCR Region
