Translator-cum-Announcers
Language – Nepali
Educational Qualification: Degree of a recognized University or equivalent preferably with the language (i.e Nepali) as, one of the subjects.
Candidates must have proficiency in the language with ability to translate correctly and speedily from English into the language.
Candidates should have adequate knowledge of the literature of the language and lively interest in National and International Affairs and Voice suited to broadcasting programmes and reading cornmentaries over the microphone with clarity and proper modulation.
Desirable – Experience in the field of broadcasting/print media etc is desirable.
Age Limit: 20 to 35 years as on 01/07/2015.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.23000/- per month for fresh candidates and Rs.25000/- in case of candidates having more than one year experience in the field of broad casting per month.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test to assess the language competence, ability to translate, General Knowledge, flair for writing for radio scripts and Voice Test.
Final selection shall be made on the basis of combined score of written/voice test and interview.
Selected candidates will be posted at External Services Division, All India Radio, New Delhi.
