Andaman and Nicobar Administration is recruiting 302 “Lower Division Clerk” in Pay Band-I in Amalgamated Clerical Cadre. The selection of the candidates will be through an Open Competitive Recruitment Examination. Indian Citizens from any States may apply. LOWER DIVISION CLERK
Number of Vacancies: 302 Nos. (Gen—182; OBC—114; ST—06). Out of them 8 PH, 14 Sportsmen and 5 Local Ex-Servicemen.
Educational Qualification: Class 12 pass/ SSC pass or equivalent. Candidates shall have typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer.
Age Limit:
For male candidates—18 years to 33 years.
For Female candidate – 18 years to 38 years.
Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 with Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-
Andaman & Nicobar Administration will held an open Competitive Examination to fill-up the vacancies, on Sunday 9th November,2014.
The Written Examination will be held at Port Blair, Bambooflat, Hut Bay, Car Nicobar, Kamorta, Campbell Bay, Rangat, Mayabunder and Diglipur Stations.

Note: Candidates who have applied earlier through online system for the post of LDC against Administration Notification No.47-1/2012-PW, published in the month of June,2013 in various Gazette/Newspaper, are not require to apply again.
