STIPENDIARY CADET TRAINEE POLICE CONSTABLES (COMMUNICATIONS) (MEN & WOMEN)
No. of vacancies: 494 Nos.
Educational Qualification: SSC with Industrial Training Institutional Certificate in Electronic Mechanic OR Information Technology and Electronic System Maintenance OR Computer Operator and Programming Assistant OR Mechanic Consumer Electronics OR Electrician. OR Two years Intermediate course with MPC OR vocational Intermediate in followings —
a) EET (Electronic Engineering Technician)
b) Electrical Technician (ET), (old name Electrical Wiring and servicing of Electrical applications (E.W&SEA)) after SSC
Physical Standard:
(i) Male Candidates: Height-162cm Chest- Unexpanded (84cm) and Expansion (88cm)
(ii) Female candidates: 152.5 cm
For the Candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes and Aboriginal tribes in the agency areas of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari and West Godavari districts are as follows:-
(i) Male candidates: Height – 160cm Chest- Unexpanded: 80 cms and Expanded-83 cms
(ii) Female candidates: 150cm
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-22 years as on 01/07/2016
Pay Scale: Rs.16,400/- Rs.49,870/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Physical Measurement Test, Physical Efficiency Test and Written Examination. Physical Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test will be held in the first week of October, 2016 and Written Examination will be held in the first week of November, 2016.
Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of Andhra Pradesh, State Level Police Recruitment Board.
