State Level Police Recruitment Board, Andhra Pradesh Police is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 707 posts of Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Sub Inspectors of Police (Civil/ AR/ SAR CPL/ APSP) in Police Department, Deputy Jailor in Prisons and Correctional Services Department and Assistant Matron in Prisons & Correctional Services Department.   1. Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Sub Inspectors of Police (Civil) (Men and Women): 355 posts
  2. Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Reserve Sub Inspectors of Police (AR) (Men and Women): 113 posts
  3. Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Reserve Sub Inspectors of Police (SAR CPL) (Men): 09 posts
  4. Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Reserve Sub Inspectors of Police (APSP) (Men): 209 posts

Educational Qualification (from Sl.No. 01 to 04):  Degree or equivalent qualification (Candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes must have passed Intermediate or any other examination and should have studied Degree).

Physical standards
i) MenHeight– Minimum 167.6 cm (160cm for aboriginal tribes), Chest: Unexpansion- 86.3cm and Expansion -91.3 cm (Unexpansion-80cm and Expansion-83 cm for aboriginal tribes)
ii) WomenHeight-Minimum 152.5 cm(150cm for aboriginal tribes), Weight:40 Kgs (38 kgs for aboriginal tribes)

Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-27 years as on 01/07/2016.

Pay Scale: Rs.28940/- Rs.78910/-

 

  1. Deputy Jailor in Prisons and Correctional Services Department (Men): 16 posts

Educational Qualification: Degree or equivalent qualification.

Physical standards:- (i) Height: Minimum-168 cm (164 cm for aboriginal tribes), (ii) Chest: Unexpanded- 87cm and Expanded- 92 cm (Unexpanded- 83cm and Expanded- 88 cm for aboriginal tribes).

Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-30 years as on 01/07/2016.

Pay Scale: Rs.26600/- Rs.77030/-

 

  1. Assistant Matron in Prisons and Correctional Services Department (Women): 05 posts

Educational Qualification: Degree or equivalent qualification.

Physical standards – (i) Height: Minimum-153 cm and (ii) Weight: 45.5kgs

Pay Scale: Rs.26600/- Rs.77030/-

Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-25 years as on 01/07/2016.
Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Preliminary Written Test, Physical Measurements Test, Physical Efficiency Test and Final Written Examination. Preliminary Written Test will be held on 27.11.2016( Sunday) Paper-I from 10.00am to 01.00 pm (3 hours) and Paper-II from 02.30 PM to 05.30 PM on the same day.

Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of State Level Police Recruitment Board, Andhra Pradesh Police.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.600/- (Rs.300/- for candidates belonging to SCs/STs) as Application Fee. Candidates willing to apply for more than one post should need to submit only one application form.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
